Nationalism or Attention Seeker

We all have the freedom to express our belief and opinion to the government, but we should not forget that complaining to their imperfection is not only our responsibility but it is  also our duty to help them for the betterment of our country.

               The legacy of the youth activist has been preserved from generation to generation. even in the times of former President Ferdinand Marcos where the real people power was established, youth activist were always in the road to join other political group who wanted to oust Marcos.

               Even today youth activist are still very active and very vocal on opposing the government on how they handle the issue of corruption, peace and order, justice, education etc. but the question is, do they still have the values of activism? because I believe that youth activism is not only meant seeking for change in social, political, economic and environment issues but they must also be a good example on how to become a real nationalist youth, not in the way of rallying against the government(common option) when they see something wrong or did not get what they expect to the government. we can also be a youth activist by showing other on how to live productively which surely help our government for nation progress and economic stability.

Pasukan sa  paaralan bituin at maraming bagong estudyante ang makikita sa loob ng paaralan at syempre kasama na din sa makikita ang mga kabataan nagkukumpulan may hawak na mensahe at nagsasabi ng di maunawaan salita sapagkat mala abogado kung magsalita.

Bagong estudyante: grabe ganito pala ang pakiramdaman sa bituin nakakaelib ang dami estudyante na mala abogado magsalita.

mala - abogado estudyante: o mukha bago ka lang dito ah sama ka samin para marami kang maging kaibigan at magkwetuhan tayo.

bagong estudyante:  talaga po sige ba teka san po ba tayo pupunta?

Future hope

Youth is the hope of the nation according to Dr. Rizal, and this quote makes filipino of bringing youth to political responsibility by electing them as Sanggguniang Kabataan. What if this youth sector is not that effective to encourage the youth to participate in politics? And it can only lead to corruption where they are victim or accessory of such activity. May be the government should think twice if it still need to pursue this sector.
