The legacy of the youth activist has been preserved from generation to generation. even in the times of former President Ferdinand Marcos where the real people power was established, youth activist were always in the road to join other political group who wanted to oust Marcos.
Even today youth activist are still very active and very vocal on opposing the government on how they handle the issue of corruption, peace and order, justice, education etc. but the question is, do they still have the values of activism? because I believe that youth activism is not only meant seeking for change in social, political, economic and environment issues but they must also be a good example on how to become a real nationalist youth, not in the way of rallying against the government(common option) when they see something wrong or did not get what they expect to the government. we can also be a youth activist by showing other on how to live productively which surely help our government for nation progress and economic stability.
